Segnet has been awarded three prestigious awards for its highly acclaimed RPM-S (Return Path Matrices) system, registered patent GB2337185, also the XiQAM system. These systems allows networks to be segmented and re-segmented into smaller areas on a live network without customers being taken off-line or system levels changing.
By offering such a flexible level of granulation, new targeted services such as increased broadband internet traffic demands or VoD are effortlessly added without the need to re-commission any part of the network or to re-set modem levels. Developed and used in conjunction with the RPM-S is our FPM-S (Forward Path Matrices) system.
Fibre-to-the-Kerb architecture has seen Segnet developing optical node solutions for the first ever all QAM digital network of its kind in the UK.
WDM developed solutions has seen large-scale deployment of Segnet 1310nm transmitters for carrying targetted DOCSIS services over existing 1550nm broadcast networks.
Segnet's range of high quality NiQAM headend broadcast amplifiers are used for laser transmitter driver applications, as well as narrowcast insertion and isolation requirements, where superior performance and reliability is paramount.
